Take an in-depth look at Mt. Cuba’s expansive gardens and discover how to apply sustainable gardening practices. Learn about environmental topics such as climate change, systems-thinking, and consciously sourcing native plants for your region. This tour expands on concepts covered in the introductory Welcome Walk. Tour includes walking over rolling terrain and mulched paths.
We are offering 2 dates for this tour – September 18th and September 20th.
The tour will begin promptly at 10am and last 1.5 hours followed by 30 minutes of free time to wander the gardens. At noon we will enjoy a picnic lunch outdoors. A boxed lunch may be purchased, or guests can bring their own food. Note: outdoor seating will be first-come, first-served.
Cost for admission and tour is $35. Add-on optional boxed lunch is $24
