Howard County Native Plant and Seed Share
Public Welcome Free Event Seed/Plant Share
Join us for a native plant and seed share at the Howard County Conservancy on October 10th (Saturday) at 11am-1pm!
BRING:
1. Bare root plants and/or seeds to share IF you have them, but bringing something is NOT REQUIRED! More seasoned gardeners are as happy to share their native plant bounty as newbies are to start filling in their garden spaces!
***Native plants only - no invasives or exotics! Native to MD is preferred, though native to adjacent states is allowed, as are nativars.
2. Table to display your plants, should you have *a lot* to share, and blanket or chair for relaxing. The event will be in and around the carriage house, and so if you have a canopy, please bring it. This is a *RAIN OR SHINE* event.
3. Please bring a Bucket or Container to carry your plants home.
New for this share- We are having Sharers who are bringing 5+ different species of native plants arrive early at 10 am, setup their own table and/or and get exclusive access before the start time of 11am.
Wild Ones Greater Baltimore will have an information table at this event.
